Laurie has been a dedicated student of yoga for over 10 years and is a licensed mental health therapist. The intensity of the physical practice drew her to yoga and the breath and spiritual components have led to her to share her deep love of the complexity of the full practice. Laurie’s physical class is accompanied by a strong focus on how we take our practice off the mat. She is dedicated to proper alignment while offering thoughtful modifications and adjustments. Laurie provides a playful learning space for students to intuitively stay present and make friends with the pressures and demands of the egoic mind. Laurie is registered with Yoga Alliance as RYT 200, and is trained in somatic bodywork--working with stress and trauma and their effects on our nervous systems.
